Brad Shaffer
Owner

Brad Shaffer founded Thrive upon the guiding principal that lawns should be enjoyed with family and friends—entertaining over lush landscapes, not laboring over weed-infested grass damaged by disease and insects. Thrive offers intelligent, residential and corporate lawn care applications that both nurture the environment as they encourage plush, green, healthy lawns to reach a thriving full bloom.

Brad has overseen the care of such prestigious golf courses as TPC Louisiana in New Orleans, TPC Tampa Bay, TPC Eagle Trace in Coral Springs and most recently, Lakewood Country Club on the Westbank. His experience as superintendent of these premier golf courses, combined with his B.S. degree in Horticulture, affords Brad a deep knowledge of Gulf South lawns.

Providing the exceptional customer service these discriminating homeowners and commercial clients demand, Brad leads a dedicated team of specialists who make it their business to pamper lawns throughout south Louisiana.

Chris Frye
Operations Supervisor

Chris Frye has been in the lawn & landscaping industry for just under 20 years starting out in the early 90's pushing a lawn mower with a small lawn maintenance company. After quickly moving up to a supervising position within the company, he spent many years of dedication on schooling and performing in the field.

With his experience and knowledge, Chris was brought on by one of Louisiana's largest landscape companies in 2006 acting as a horticulturalst, irrigation technician, and landscaper. Eventually, Chris became the production manager and assistant to the maintenance coordinator.

In 2013 Chris became the Operations Supervisor for Thrive of Louisiana. Realizing the benefits of the combined skill and knowlege that both Brad and Chris share made this an easy choice. Today, you can find Chris working closely with Brad, together defining what a beautiful healthy lawn truly is.
